I was attracted first to Naomi Watts' acting, especially her Oscar®-nominated role in 21 Grams, also in the well-crafted horror fantasy The Ring, and it's sequel, later in Eastern Promise, Viggo Mortenson's best (Oscar nominated).
She was born in England but raised in Australia. I started seeking out her films and finally saw how changeable she could become, as in Somerset Maugham's The Painted Veil a 30's era story with Edward Norton co-starring. [see photo below rt]
